Michelle's Baby Shower

My niece, Michelle, had her babyshower on May 16 at The Derby in Arcadia. We had a great time, and I won a prize for the most necklaces (took them all away from people who crossed their legs), and I won the Raffle, too. I got a pink ipod shuffle. Boy, was I lucky! I've added just a few of the pics I took at the shower. Michelle got a lot of nice things for the baby. She's going to have a girl, and her name is going to be Kaylee Lynn.

Coreen's Babyshower

On May 2, Coreen Ramirez was given a babyshower by Shirley Nunez. We all had a great time. Coreen gave birth to a very healthy baby boy this morning (5/19/09). Elijah is his name, and isn't he cute!

Monica's Play - Starlight Diner

Monica had her play on Friday, May 1, 2009 at 7 p.m. I was a couple of minutes late, so I didn't get a program, but I spotted her right away. She was in the back row!

It was a little warm inside, but that's because of all the people who attended. There were a lot of kids in the play, which lasted a little over an hour, but the time just went so fast. Linda bought a single rose to give Monica after the Play, and she was not only surprised, she was really happy to receive it. I must have taken over 100 photos (nope, not putting them here). I think I'll put them on flickr and share them that way. Marissa, Leanne, Nigel, Nathaniel and Jose went with me, so the car was packed going home. Crystal had to work, so she couldn't go. Good thing I took lots of pictures!!!!!

Marissa's Drama Night!

Marissa had her drama night on Wedesday, April 22, 2009. She did a monologue all by herself, and it was so good. I took some pictures, but they were kind of dark. I did one little video that shows just how good she was. Marissa is growing up so fast even though she's only 13 right now. She's so smart, and judging by this video, I think she's pretty darn talented, too!

Fun Day at Work!

Well, today was really a good day at work. The surprises just never end. Even though it's the day AFTER Administrative Professionals Day, we still enjoyed fun and games. An "Amazing 'BN' Race" was scheduled, and my team won 1st place. It was so much fun, and really made the afternoon go by fast. My team each received a $50 gift certificate to South Coast Plaza, which is one of my favorite malls to go to! Now all I need to do is decide which store to go to. If I didn't say it before, the backpacks we got yesterday will come in handy when we go to Catalina in June! Now that will be an adventure!

Administrative Professionals Day

This was quite a day. My firm is so good to all of their employees. The Shareholders made us breakfast and later in the day, we all got a backpack. Why a backpack, you ask? Well, our LA and OC offices are having our yearly event this year at Catalina Island. Anyway, we get to celebrate all week long. They are focusing on "health and fitness" this year. Monday, we got Jamba Juice Smoothies and Pedometers. Tuesday, we got to sit in on a presentation for detoxing our bodies. I actually won one of the 2 things raffled, and it was a foot bath that is worth $99. The other item was a book. I'm glad I got the gift certificate. Nice!!! There are 2 days left, so we'll just have to wait and see what else happens.
